Under 14s win League Final

Annaduff 3-7 Carrigallen 2-9

Our under 14s lifted the 13 a side league trophy on Friday in Pairc Sean following a thrilling one point win over an excellent Carrigallen outfit.

There was little between the teams on the field for much of this match despite Annaduff running up an eight point lead midway through the second half. However as the final whistle approached the lead had been chipped away and with the clock approaching 60, Carrigallen went ahead. What followed was an example of an Annaduff team who never stop playing until they hear the final whistle. Frayed nerves off the field were not matched on the pitch and in the dying seconds Cronin was fouled with the goal at his mercy, Murray converted the resulting penalty to give Annaduff a victory by the narrowest of margins.

Annaduff: Shane Cox, Eamon Reddan, Michael Cox, Sean Quigley, David Faughnan, Daire Guckian, Daragh Flannagan, Conor Cronin, Colm Murray (capt), Adam O Hagan, Oran Newton Maloney, Donal McNabola, Kyle Mulvihill Farrell, Eoin Moylan, Jason Lyons, Jamie Dolan, Cian O Loughnan, Colm Fitzpatrick
