Junior “A” Championship V Dromahair

There was only pride at stake in our match against Dromahair in Drumshanbo on Saturday evening as both teams have qualified for the quarter finals. Drumahair were far the superior team running out easy winners by 5-10 to 1-6.Annaduff playing with the wind were competitive in the first half and a well taken goal by Micheal O’Dowd gave them the lead after 20 minutes. Dromahair led at the break by 3-3 to 1-4. One of the first half  highlights was a wonderful long range point from Aaron Duignan.It was all Dromahair in the second half, they eventually winning by 17 points   Annaduff :Barry Daly,Colm Hagan, Chris Farrell ,Dean Gill , Ronan Conroy, John Faughnan , Karl Foley ,Padraic Carroll (Capt.), Aaron Duignan (0-1),Micheal O’Dowd (1-1), Colm Cox ,Gavin O’Brien (0-1),Liam Ward ( Capt.),Niall Maxwell (0-1), Kenny Cox (0-2).Subs used :Gus Garvey, Kenton McCormack.
