Annaduff Girls School Team win League Final

Well done to Annaduff Girls on winning the Schools League during the week.

Annaduff beat Aughnasheelin in Shield

We beat Aughnasheelin in the Shield on Friday in Annaduff by 3-11 to 1-12.Colm Cox was the star of the match scoring a hat trick with goals in the 12th, 16th and 38th minute. Apart from the goals there was very little between the sides with Gerry McLoughlin’s team putting up a good performance against an expermintal Annaduff. Annaduff led at half time by 2-6 to 0-6 thanks to Colm Cox’s goals and some good points from Michael Moyles, Joe Cox and Ray Cox.Jim McCormack saved a certain goal with a great save in the 20th minute. Aughnasheelin tried hard in the second period and actually outscored Annaduff by a point however the home side were never in danger of losing and they eventually won by five points. Annaduff : Jim McCormack, Nigel Cox,Thomas Flanagan,John Faughnan, David Duignan ( Capt.), Sean McNabola (0-1), Brendan Guckian, Ronan McCormack, Colm Cox (3-2),Cathal Cox, Ray Cox ( 0-2),Seamus Mulvihill (0-2),Michael Moyles( 0-3),Joe Cox ( 0-1). A minutes silence was observed before the match in memory of Mrs. May Sammon. May she rest in Peace.

Annaduff Parish and G.A.A Lotto

At the draw held in McLoughlin’s, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 7,8,10 and 24. The 50 euro winner was Paddy Snee,c/o Taylor’s. The 25 euro winners were Rachel Foley, Croghan Road, Ck-on-Shannon, Maggie Cox, Corduff, Rachel Dockery, Finnelaughta, Avril Cox, Gortinty. The next draw will be held in Duignan’s on Sunday next.
