Under 14s win League Final
Annaduff 3-7 Carrigallen 2-9
Our under 14s lifted the 13 a side league trophy on Friday in Pairc Sean following a thrilling one point win over an excellent Carrigallen outfit.
There was little between the teams on the field for much of this match despite Annaduff running up an eight point lead midway through the second half. However as the final whistle approached the lead had been chipped away and with the clock approaching 60, Carrigallen went ahead. What followed was an example of an Annaduff team who never stop playing until they hear the final whistle. Frayed nerves off the field were not matched on the pitch and in the dying seconds Cronin was fouled with the goal at his mercy, Murray converted the resulting penalty to give Annaduff a victory by the narrowest of margins.

Division 4 defeat V St.Mary’s

At the draw held in Cox’s,there was no jackpot winner.The numbers drawn were 6,7,9,20.The 50 euro winner was Gerry Reilly. The 25 euro winners were Terry McGuinness, Ml. Heever, Emma Mahon, Catherine Cox. Next draw on Sunday night next in Taylor’s of Drumsna with a Jackpot of 1,700 Euro.

Division 4 draw V Mohill

Our under 14,s made it 4 out of 4 with an away win over Carrigallen on Friday week. It was an evenly contested first 30 minutes with only a point separating the teams.Carrigallen opened the scoring in the second half but that was the last time the Annaduff back line would be breached in the game. What followed was 27 minutes of sublime Annaduff football finished off by a Jamie Dolan point.Guckian and Flanagan took control of Midfield allowing flying half back David Faughnan charge repeadly at the Carrigallen defence.Annaduff : Cox, Reddan, Cox,Quigley, Faughnan,Cronin, Murray, O’Hagan(Capt.),O’Loughnan,McNabola, Farrell,> Subs used : Moylan, Lyons, Dolan.
