Unveiling of Philly McGuinness Memorial Plaque

The Philly McGuinness Memorial Plaque in memory of the late Philly was unveiled on Saturday last in the Park by Fr. John Wall. The plaque was excellently designed and made by Fergal O’Dowd.Our thanks to Mohill for the friendly and also to the members of Melvin Gaels who turned up the unveiling and to Enda Stenson the Referee. Paddy Fox spoke very eloquently about the loss of Philly and the strong bond down the yerars between Annaduff and Mohill G.A.A Clubs. In the Friendly Match played the highlight was the last score a brilliant point from Colm Hagan, his first score for Annaduff. Annaduff : Jim McCormack, James Cox, Dermot Reynolds, Colm Hagan, Matty Cox, David Duignan, Ml. Rowley, Brendan Guckian,Sean McNabola, Ray Cox, Ronan McCormack, Cathal Cox, Micheal O’Dowd, Joe Cox, Paul Farrell. Subs used : Michael Moyles.

Unveiling of Philly McGuinness Memorial Plaque on Saturday

Annaduff V Mohill Senior Friendly Match at 2pm on Saturday next December 10th in Annaduff followed by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque in memory of Philly McGuinness. Admission optional, all proceeds to Mohill G.A.A and Annaduff G.A.A underage player development.

At the draw held in Duignan’s of Drumsna, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 7,11,15 and 21.The 50 euro winners were Jonathan and Tina c/o Taylor’s. The 25 euro winners were Derek Kellegher, Drumsna, Eoin McDonagh, Galway, Sarah McWeeney,Derrycarne, Josephine McGushin, Bornacoola. The next draw will be held on Sunday night next in Cox’s Steakhouse Bar with a Jackpot og 3,600 euro.
