Unveiling of Philly McGuinness Memorial Plaque
The Philly McGuinness Memorial Plaque in memory of the late Philly was unveiled on Saturday last in the Park by Fr. John Wall. The plaque was excellently designed and made by Fergal O’Dowd.Our thanks to Mohill for the friendly and also to the members of Melvin Gaels who turned up the unveiling and to Enda Stenson the Referee. Paddy Fox spoke very eloquently about the loss of Philly and the strong bond down the yerars between Annaduff and Mohill G.A.A Clubs. In the Friendly Match played the highlight was the last score a brilliant point from Colm Hagan, his first score for Annaduff.
