Smith Monumentals IFC: There was a great buzz around the Parish on Sunday evening last as Karl Foleys men over came Eslin in the Intermediate semi final in Pairc Sean McDiarmuid, Carrick On Shannon.
After already been promoted to Division 1 in the league for next year. We now face Fenagh in the final on Sunday October 14th at 1pm and hopefully get back to Senior Championship ranks for 2019. So get the flags out around Dromod, Drumsna and Annaduff and support the lads.
Also we would like to welcome back Gary Bohan to the team, who was injured early this year.
Westlink Coaches U15s Championship:
Well done to our U15 boys winning their home game against Fenagh on Sunday evening last in Annaduff.
Full time score: Annaduff 5-04 Fenagh 3-03.

Carrick Region U13s:
Well done and congratulations to the boys who took part in the U13s regional competition final under lights in Cloone last week. Over coming Lough Allen region with a full time score of Carrick area 5-14 to Lough Allen area 4-05 Team lead by Captain Darren Cox, also had Eoghan Ridge and Liam McNamee also congratulations to their team members from Carrick and Gortletteragh.
Annaduff National School:
Well done to the boys who won their group in the mini 7s football competition during the week with wins over Carrick NS, Bornacoola NS, and the Gael Scoil and a draw with Mohill NS.
New Arrival:
Congratulation to David and Mairead Conroy, Bofin ave, Dromod on the birth of their latest member to the family a baby boy called Bobby. I’m sure big brother Oscar would have an Annaduff jersey to fit him soon, Best wishes !!.
Tidy Towns:
Congratulation to Drumsna and Dromod villages on the results of the tidy towns last week.
Despite Carrick on Shannon taking top spot by one point. Dromod still got a very high rating at 328 points and Drumsna on 310 points. We are so lucky in the parish of Annaduff to have not one but two vibrant and wonderfully well kept Villages.
Wedding Bells:
Congratulations to former Annaduff ladies player Rachelle O’Connor and her new husband Enda McHugh who hails from Cloone on their wedding on Friday last. Best wishes for your future together.
Underage:
With winter approaching that time of year when our smaller members wind down on training. Last Saturday sees the last training session for the U9s and 7s for 2018 but no doubt, lots of football will be played in school over the winter. Many thanks goes to our dedicated Coaches and also the parents for travelling around to games and for helping with the catering over the year. Our club just could not be as successful without your help so many thanks for that.
Fr Kevin Sullivan:
Well done Cllr Sinead Guckian and the Drumsna Development association members on the official opening of the Fr. Kevin Sullivan Memorial Garden on Sunday last along with the new play ground. Credit goes to all involved. Looks beautiful and well worth a visit as well as a superb play area for the kids.
