2013Championship v Manor13

We were beaten by Glencar/Manor in Carrick on Saturday by 1-11 to 0-3.This was a very committed and organised performance against one of the best club teams in Connacht.Our low score was disappointing.We shared the lead at 0-2 each after 10 minutes. A defensive mistake then gifted a goal to Glencar/Manor,they added for more points before half time to lead by 1-6 to 0-2 at half time.In a low scoring second half Manor outscored us by 0-5 to 0-1 with county minor Kenny Cox getting our second half point.  Annaduff  : Thomas Flanagan,Gary Bohan, Chris Farrell,Nigel Cox, Ronan Conroy,David Duignan,James Cox,Matty Cox (Capt.),Micheal O’Dowd,Conor Reynolds,Kenny Cox (0-2),Gavin O’Brien,Niall  Maxwell, Sean McNabola ( 0-1), Hugh Moylan. Annaduff Parish/G.A.A Lotto

At the draw held in Cox’s Steakhouse Bar, Dromod, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 3,8,13,14. The 50 Euro winner was Alan Cox, Corduff. The 25 Euro winners were Rian Ward, Gortinty, Alan Rowley, Drumcree,Jason Ward, Derrybrack,Gary Faughnan, Aughamore.The next draw takes place on Sunday next in Duignan’s of Drumsna with a Jackpot of 4,600 Euro.

Under 16 Championship

The under 16’s winning run came to an end on Saturday when they were beaten by Garadice, they still have a chance of making the final. Most of the panel are underage again next year

Junior Championship

We were beaten 5-13 to 0-5 by St. Marys in Carrick on Sunday. The scoreline was a bit harsh as this was a spirited performance with lack of fitness a deciding factor.Ml. Rowley opened the scoring with an Annaduff point, Ml. Rowley again, Alan Cox and Ronan Egan with a great point got our first half scores.
