W/E 2nd April 2017

Underage Training
Training commenced for the year ahead in brilliant sunshine on Saturday morning last. Remember we will be out each Saturday morning at 10am, and new members are always welcome. The club extends it’s thanks to all of the Coaches who devote so much of their time and energy to the children, and to the Bord Na Og officials who make it all happen. A special mention goes to our new coaches who started on Saturday last.

Under 10:
Our U10 squad took part in a mini-blitz at half time in the Leitrim-vs-London game really enjoyed the experience. Our thanks to James Glancy and his team for his assistance, and to Gortlettragh who provided the opposition.

Our 80’s Disco nIght takes place in Coxs Dromod on Saturday Night, April 1st. Local celebrity DJ James King will be spinning the discs. Already air- guitars are being dusted down, shoulder pads fitted, and outfits for the occasion chosen. There will be spot-prizes galore and valuable prizes for best dressed on night. Tickets on sale now from any member of the exec and a great night is guaranteed.

U15
Annaduff v St Bridgets under 15 (13 aside). Played in Annaduff on the 25/03/17. Final score Annaduff 2.06 – St Bridgets 4.06.
A goal with the last kick of the match by St Bridgets sealed their win but Annaduff were very much in contention for much of the match in which both teams led for spells but a number of wides on the second half allowed St Bridget to pull away in the last ten minutes. There were a number of fine performances throughout the field from goal keeper to the forwards but as Joe Brolly loves to tell us “goals win matches” and St Bridgets took their chances. Scorers for Annaduff D Cox 5pt, u Kelly 1 goal, C McNabola 1 goal, J Hughes 1pt.
