W/E 26th July 2020
Our first round of the IFC V Kiltubrid took place in Cloone on Friday evening last. Under terrible wet and dark conditions. Before the game there was a Minute silence for the late Noel Duignan (Annaduff) and the late Brendan Meehan (Kiltubrid). This was the opening game of the Leitrim 2020 Championship. A very close game throughout with less than 10 min to go Kiltubrid looked like they were going away with a win, but in true Annaduff spirit and drive we came away with the win under the narrowest of margins. With two points in the bag, its a great way to start for Karl Foleys Men. Full time score: Annaduff 0-10 Kiltubrid 0-09.
Team: Darragh Burke, Michael Murray, Hugh Moylan, Michael Cox, Adam O Hagan, Conor Reynolds, Dean Gill, Dillon Keane, Jack Hughes, Eoin Gill(0-1), Sean McNabola(0-6)(5f), Dermot Reynolds, Mattie Cox, Cathal Cox, Alan Glancy(0-3)(f).
Our U15s kicked off their Championship on Saturday morning last home to Leitrim Gaels.
The campaign didn’t start well for the home side with a couple of injuries and a strong Gaels side left the full time score Annaduff 3-03 to Leitrim Gaels 8-06. Annaduff have a bye in the next round.
Our JAFC is scheduled to commence on WE 25/26 July. Round one away to St.Marys.
