Annaduff G.F.C Golf Classic

Annaduff on top of the League
In Division 1 on Saturday we beat Gortletteragh by 1-11 to 0-06 in Gortletteragh. We were in trouble in the first half and Gortletteragh led at the break by 0-05 to 0-02. but a strong second half performance when we outscored the home side by 1-09 to 0-01 put us joint top of Division 1 with Kiltubrid on 6 points. Both teams have the same points difference.
Division 2 V Dromahair
In a very entertaining match the current glamour team of Leitrim football Dromahair beat our second string by 0-12 to 0-08 in Annaduff on Sunday.Dromahair led by three points after 11 minutes the points all frees came from Kevin Conlon with two and Shane Fowley. Cathal and Joe Cox replied with Annaduff points. Kevin Conlon and Gerard Reynolds then exchanged points with Joe Cox getting a point for Annaduff after 20 minutes. Gerard Reynolds then scored two frees in a row with Kevin Conlon getting a point from play after 29 minutes to leave Annaduff leading at the break by 0-06 to 0-05.. At this stage a shock Annaduff win looked a possibility however Dromahair upped the ante in the second half, impressive full forward Christy McGowan brought the sides level with a point after 32 minutes, four minutes later Ronan McCormack restored Annaduff’s lead with a well taken point. Dromahair got the next five points from Kevin Conlon, Christy McGowan, Camillus McMorrow and two pointed frees from substitute Alan Harvey. Gerard Reynolds brought Annaduff to within three points of Dromahair with a free on 51 minutes with Christy McGowan finishing the scoring with a point for the visitors on 58 minutes. Best for Annaduff were Matty Cox, James Cox, Sean McNabola, John Faughnan and Gerard Reynolds.

Annaduff beaten in Division 3
In a poor quality Division 3 match in Annaduff on Sunday Gortletteragh beat us by 5-09 to 0-07. The match was over as a contest at half time when Gortletteragh led by 3-05 to 0-04.In the second half Ml. Dorrigan and former all star Seamus Quinn goaled for Gortletteragh to leave them worthy winners by 5-09 to 0-07. Parish G.A.A Lotto
At the draw held in Duignan’s of Drumsna, there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were : 9,14,19 and 23. The € 50 winner was Nicola Dolan, Furnace. The € 25 winners were Ella Reilly, Dromod Station, Matty Cox, Antfield, Gary Dolan, Furnace and Siobhan Lyons, Dromod. The next draw will be held on Sunday night next in Cox’s Steakhouse Bar with a Jackpot of € 3,300.

We play Mohill in Division 1 in Annaduff at 6.30 on Saturday and on Sunday We play Drumkeerin in Drumkeerin in Division 2 at 12.30.
