Senior Championship V Ballinamore
We secured our place in the quarter finals with a hard earned win over Ballinamore in Carrick on Saturday evening by 0-12 to 1-7.Michael Moyles got Annaduff off to a good start with a point in the 3rd minute. Shane McWeeney equalised for Ballinamore before Matty Cox gave Annaduff the lead again with a well taken point.Ballinamore got the next three scores , two points and a goal in the 12th minute from Sean Murray to leave them four points ahead however at this stage Annaduff showed their true charachter and dug deep. They scored six points in succession before half time from Matty Cox, David McHugh and two each from Ray and Joe Cox to leave the score at the interval Annaduff 0-8 to Ballinamores 1-3.On the resumpion Sean McNabola scored a well taken long range free.Shane McWeeney and Joe Cox exchanged points before Ballinamore scored two points in the 40th and 43th minute. Michael Moyles got Annaduff back on track with a pointed free.In the 55th minute Conor McLoughlin scored a superb long range point . Junior “A” Championship
In Junior “A” Championship we beat Carrigallen in Ballinamore on Sunday by 2-13 to 1-12.Carrigallen led at half time by 0-6 to 0-4 with Annaduff shooting seven wides in the first period . The second half early on was a tight affair before goalscorer supreme Niall Maxwell scored two goals inside a minute in the 53rd minute. This proved decisive with Annaduff winning by four points .
