Annaduff Family Fun Day 2018:
The 5th Annual Annaduff Family Fun Day takes place on Sunday next the 12th of August.
This years Charity Partner is Pieta House. We are extremely grateful to the Community in Annaduff and beyond who have support this event annually and have helped make it so successful.
This year, the theme is Farm Safety as the majority of our patrons young and old are from family farms have access to or interact with farms we feel that the fun day is an ideal platform to remind and educate all, on the dangers farms present in a discreet but impacting manner. The Farm Safety feature will take the form of numerous live presentations and demonstrations, conducted by guest speakers, in a safe and controlled environment. On the day among others, a sample of our speakers is as follows:
PETER GOHARY:Peter is a nationally recognised authority on Health and Safety.
ALMA JORDAN – Agri-kids: Alma hails from Co. Kildare and in 2014 set up her own business, “Agri Kids” to teach children about Farm Safety.
Other events: We will also host the biggest underage football blitz in Leitrim.
Kids games & competitions.
Shoebox of books sale.
Cake sale, hot food, ice cream, demonstration stands and much, much more.

Clothes collection: Thanks again to all who dropped off Clothes bags. We will be finishing collecting this Saturday 11th of August. All types of clothes, shoes, old bags, belts, curtains, bed linen etc. Cant take duvets or pillows. Drop off to Annaduff GAA on Saturday Morning from 10am to 11am. Anyone around the Village that has bags to be collected we would be delighted to collect them for you. A shout out for quality used books..in good condition..particularly sports, gardening..auto biography’s…drop in next saturday in the clubhouse from 10am- 2pm…

Newtown Engineering Under 17s Championship: Hard luck to our U17s lost out to Melvin Gaels on Monday last in Annaduff . Full time score Annaduff 2-05 to Melvin Gaels 4-08. If the lads win the last game they would still should qualify for a semi final spot.

Barna Recycling Under 13s Championship: Annaduff Under 13’s lost their first D1 Championship game on Thursday last to Leitrim Gaels on a scoreline of Annaduff 0-10 to Leitrim Gaels 4-13 The lads still remain top of the group.

Smith Monumentals IFC:
Our Intermediate Championship continued in Ballinamore on Sunday last where the opposition was Carrigallen. Another great performance from the lads finishing out Annaduff 4-13 to Carrigallen 0-06.
