Annaduff v Drumreilly

Under terrible weather conditions in Drumkeerin on Saturday we were beaten 2-9 to 0-3 by Drumreilly in Drumkeerin on Saturday in the third round of the Championship group stages.The first half was closely contested with Drumreilly leading at half time by 1-3 to 0-3. The highlight of the first half from an Annaduff viewpoint was a penalty save from Jim McCormack who was outstanding in goals. Drumreilly outscored us by 1-6 to 0-0 in the second half to run out deserving and easy winners. Junior A Championship

We were beaten 3-17 to 1-3 by Carrigallen in Carrick on a very wet Sunday. Despite been well beaten the team showed a lot of character.Carrigallen led at half time by 1-6 to 1-2. Annaduffs goal came from Niall Cox after good play by Alan Glancy.Paul McNulty made his Junior debut with an impressive display and Michael and James Faughnan and Niall Cox returned to action.
