Underage Football: The wonderful weather on Saturday morning, first day back drew a super turnout of 60 girls. A fun warm up was followed with a variety of ball skills, games and obstacle courses. The level of effort and participation was great well done to Ann Marie and all the Coaches really looking forward to another fun morning next week and seeing who puts in the practice at home. It is important to ensure prior to players returning to GAA activity, that they are registered on the New Foireann System which can be accessed by inputting www.foirean.ie into your internet browser. Members who set up a ‘ReturnToPlay’ account in 2020 to complete the Health Questionnaires can access their Foireann account by using the same login ID and password as used last year. If you don’t have a ReturnToPlay account then you can register a new account very easily on Foireann. Go to www.foireann.ie and follow the instructions for New user. If you encounter any difficulties for the boys talk to Ronan Mooney / Angela Neary for the girls chat Ann Marie Cox.Childrens Officer:Congratulations and best wishes to Genevieve Cox on her recent confirmation as the Clubs Children’s Officer.For enquiries, her email address is ChildrensOfficer.annaduff.leitrim@gaa.ieCovid-19 Update:In light of the positive announcement by the Government late last week in relation to the further relaxing of restrictions for society generally and for Gaelic Games in particular, the following is what is proposed in the coming weeks: From Monday last the 10th May – Outdoor training is permitted at adult level in pods of a maximum of 15 people (including coaches). However, games are not allowed and indoor facilities must remain closed. From 7th June (and subject to the Public Health situation at the time) – Club games will be permitted at all levels but must be played “behind closed doors”.Clothes collection: Our clothes collection, will continue on Saturday next, 15th of May. If anyone has bags of clothes, they can be dropped off at the front of the Clubhouse before 12 noon. Due to Covid there will be no one at clubhouse until after 12pm to bring in bags. As per previous collections we can accept all types of clothes, shoes, old bags, belts, curtains, bed linen etc. We cant take duvets or pillows. Your support is very much appreciated. Monies raised go towards underage training equipment for our younger people in the Parish.Annaduff 50/50 On-Line :Our Annaduff GAA 50/50 draw took place from Drumsna Garden Centre on Sunday evening last. Thanks to Geraldine Monaghan who has all your plants & flower needs and gardening advise .The winner of ticket number #177 and the prize of €260 was Conor Reynolds.
