Under 14 League Winners

Our under 14’s won the League in a very closely fought match against Kiltubrid, which took place in Carrick on Friday last.A great performance by all players led by captain Colm Fitzpatrick.Team line out as follows: Caolan Quigley, Jason Lyons,Francis Shanley,Jack Kelly, Jonathan Harte,Micheal Cox, Colm Fitzpatrick,Daniel Hamilton,Martin Earley,Keelan Lynch,Jason Ward. Division 1 V Ballinamore

We were beaten 2-14 to 0-4 by Ballinamore on Saturday evening in Annaduff.Ballinamore led at the break by 1-6 to 0-2, their goal was scored in the 20th minute by Anthony McTeague.Annaduff’s first half points came from Ray Cox and Sean Duignan.Our second half points came from Ray Cox and a fine effort from Eoin Gill.Annaduff  : Jim McCormack, Gary Bohan,Dillon Keane,Dean Gill,Keith Duignan ,Conor Reynolds,James Cox,Gary Bohan,  David Duignan,Matty Cox(Capt.), Sean McNabola,,Cathal Cox , Sean Duignan(0-1),Kenny Cox ,Ray Cox (0-2),Francis McNabola (0-2).  . In an entertaining Division 4 match in Annaduff on Sunday Glenfarne/Kilty beat Annaduff by 6-10 to 3-9.The first half was evenly contested with the Visitors ahead at the break by 1-8 to 2-3. Division 1 V Melvin Gaels

We were beaten 2-8 to 0-4 by a dominant Melvin Gaels in Kinlough on Saturday evening.Melvin Gaels showed that they are one of the best teams in the county and could have won by more as they shot 14 wides. The Gaels led by seven points at the break. At the draw held in Duignan’s, there was no Jackpot winner. The 50 Euro winner was Betty Harte, Aughamore. The 25 Euro winners were Cathal Harte, Rose McWeeney, Joe Toolan,John Dowling. The next draw takes place in Cox’s on Sunday night next with a Jackpot of 6,900 Euro.

At the draw held in McLoughlins Bar, Drumsna,there was no Jackpot winner. The numbers drawn were 6,16,17,20. The 50 Euro winner was Breege Bohan, Corrick. The 25 Euro winners were Micheal O’Dowd Jnr., Micheal Reynolds, Mickey McNabola, Patricia Reilly. The next draw takes on Sunday night next in Duignans of Drumsna with a Jackpot of 6,800 Euro.

Shield V Bornacoola

We beat Bornacoola by 1-8 to 0-6 in the Shield in Dromod on Saturday.Conor Reynolds opened the scoring with an Annaduff point after 12 minutes. Bornacoola got the next two points however Annaduff replied with three in a row from Kenny Cox, Brendan Lynch and David Duignan. Aiden Reilly got a point for the Bors before half time to leave the score at the break 0-4 to 0-3 in favour of Annaduff.Bornacoola got the next two points in the 40th and 41st minute.Conor Reynolds replied with an Annaduff point. Bornacoola took the lead again with a point after 50 minutes. This was their last score as Annaduff finished very strongly with a Matty Cox goal and points from Kenny Cox and two from substitute Colm Cox.Annaduff lined out as follows : Jim McCormack, Gary Bohan,Chris Farrell, Michael Lynch, James Cox,David Duignan(0-1),Nigel Cox, Matty Cox(1-0),Brendan Lynch (0-1) Kenny Cox(0-2),Conor Reynolds (0-2), Dean Gill,Micheal O’Dowd,  Cathal Cox,Daniel Duignan.  .
