Shield V Glenfarne/Kilty
Glenfarne/Kilty were the opposition in the Shield on Saturday in Annaduff with Annaduff winning by 0-9 to 0-8. This win was hard earned against a strong Glenfarne outfit. Barry Daly made a great save near the end to stop an almost certain Glenfarne goal. Glenfarne/Kilty dominated the first half and they led at the break by 0-6 to 0-4.Annaduff’s first half points came from Enda McHugh, Cathal Cox, Colm Cox and Sean McNabola. Glenfarne led by 0-7 to 0-4 after 33 minutes however Annaduff then scored five points in succession from David McHugh with two,two Ciaran McLoughlin frees and Joe Cox. This left Annaduff leading by 0-9 to 0-7 when Barry Daly made his match winning save. On the 60th minute Glenfarne/Kilty got the last score of the match a point to leave one point between the sides at the end.
